Personal life: I am just a young fellow who is continuosly pushing and testing his limits and helping others do the same.
It is good to have an end to journey toward;
but it is the journey that matters, in the end.
/ Ernest Hemingway /
Looking back I must say it has been a great journey so far and Iâm pretty sure that this is just the beginning...
I got my Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. During university I participated in many student clubs and travelled around Europe. On a workshop in Switzerland I fell in love with the country...and a swiss girl.
I moved there and started working in an IT company. I had to deal with all kinds of problems and customers. It was really intense, but I learnt a lot in many different fields such as: web development, hardware assembling, maintaining network systems, data recovery, communicating with customers, etc.
This period also had a huge effect on my physical health and spiritual journey.
Later my heart led me to China - where I spent an amazing 6 months. Asia is simply AMAZING. I think everyone should go there for a while to experience itâs beauty. I studied Chinese language at Beijing Jiaotong University and had the opportunity to try all kinds of traditional chinese arts: calligraphy, tai chi, paper cutting, etc. This period formed my personality in a way, that I became much more empathetic for others and accept them as they are.
Coming back to Hungary I started working on my first startup UniBreeze with my Co-founder Matyas Biri. Even though we stopped working on this product, it was an incredible journey that definitely formed my mindset and pushed me to the direction of entrepreneurship. I realized that I enjoy solving problems, creating products, doing customer development and coming up with business ideas. I just love it and looking forward to the future to work with great people on great challenges.
"YOU ONLY FAIL WHEN YOU STOP TRYING"
If you always do what you always did,
you will always get what you always got.
We cannot solve our problems with
the same thinking that created them.
Once you have commitment, you need the discipline
and hard work to get you there.
Motivation is what gets you started.
Habit is what keeps you going.
Think big, and don't listen to people who tell you it can't be done. Life is too short to think small.
You have not lived today until you have done something
for someone who can never repay you.
I found this pictures on Daily Health Gen and I had to share them with you. I could not agree more.
My Favourite Books
"No two persons ever read the same book."
Geez, now that's a tough one...
It's hard to pick, there are so many... I guess Iâm kind of a bookaholic.
I mostly read about business, self development, health and fitness.
Iâm astonished by the knowledge that humankind acquired throughout the history.
I'm constantly training my speed-reading skills to be able to finish more books faster, while remembering them better.
This is just a short list of some of my favourite books:
"Free time is a terrible thing to waste. Read a book."
âWe travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.â
I travel to get to know new people, places, and cultures. Basically to learn and to be free. I travel any way I can - I walk, I hitch-hike, I drive, I fly - anywhere I can - a small town nearby, the mountains, foreign countries, other continents - at any time I can.
"Before there can be wonders, there must be wonder."
I got into the world of magic while I was in college. I fell in love with it. It's amazing to see the surprise and joy on the face of the people after a successful magic trick. It somehow gives back the hope for magic. Love it.
âIf one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again,
there is no use in reading it at all.â
Reading is like travelling, or getting to know a new person. An infinite source of great knowledge. I don't watch TV - I read. I read when I'm at home, or on the bus, or in a line. At the river, on the beach. When the sun is shining and when it is not.
"If you have time for Facebook, you have time to exercise."
Exercise is part of self development. You need to develop your body in the same way as you need to develop your mind and your soul. I mostly go jogging or do Functional Training (TRX, Kettlebell, Street Workout) - but I'm very much looking forward to include yoga as well.
"Self development is not 'achieved'.
It is continuous, deliberate and thoughtful."
I truly believe that everyone should constantly challenge themselves and getting out of their comfort zone. I try to be out of my comfort zone as much as possible and do the same for other people. Not because I am mean - but because I want them to grow with me.
